As part of practical civics education and efforts to bridge the gap between classroom theory and local governance practice, pupils and teachers from Adabokrom R/C Primary School embarked on an educational tour of the Bia East District Assembly.

The familiarization visit offered young learners and their educators a firsthand look at the administrative machinery of local government, the functions of various departments, and how civic decisions are made at the district level under the Local Governance Act, 2016 (Act 936).

Interacting with the visiting pupils and teachers, management of the Bia East District Assembly underscored the importance of early exposure to governance and academic discipline.

The head teacher and accompanying teachers of Adabokrom R/C Primary School expressed profound gratitude to the District Assembly management for the warm reception and educational insights provided. They noted that the practical exposure have significantly reinforced social studies and civic education curricula taught in the classroom.
