About this department
The Finance Department safeguards the public funds of the Assembly and ensures that every cedi received and spent is properly accounted for.
It manages treasury operations, revenue collection and lodgement, payment processing, expenditure control and the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
The Department works closely with the Budget Unit and Internal Audit to ensure compliance with the Public Financial Management Act, 2016 (Act 921).
