Each department is decentralised under the Local Government Service and reports through the District Coordinating Director to the General Assembly.
Central Administration

The Secretariat of the Assembly. Coordinates the General Assembly, Executive Committee, records, protocol and the day-to-day administrative machinery of the district.
Department of Agriculture
Mr. Charles Ennin
Extension services for cocoa, food crops and livestock farmers, pest and disease management, Women in Agricultural Development (WIAD) and nutrition education.
Human Resource Management

Recruitment, staff development, performance management, conditions of service and human resource policy for the Assembly.
Social Welfare and Community Development

Child protection, disability fund administration, LEAP support, community mobilisation and self-help projects.
Works Department

Construction, repair and maintenance of public roads, drains, buildings and other Assembly works, including supervision of contractors.
Physical Planning Department

Spatial planning, land-use control, building permits, street naming and property addressing, and development planning enforcement.
Finance Department

Data collection, analysis and dissemination to support planning, monitoring, evaluation and evidence-based decision making.

National Disaster Management Organisation. Disaster risk reduction, emergency preparedness, response coordination and public safety education.
Trade and Industry

Market management, promotion of small and medium enterprises, trade registration, industrial development and local economic growth.
Youth & Sports

Health

Natural Resource
